4/3/2020 Cardinal Aviation Audio Briefings Episode #14 (Canadian MF/FSS Airport Communication Procedures)
Uncontrolled aerodrome procedures are something that even the professionals mix up sometimes! We discuss the required radio calls and procedures when flying into an MF (Mandatory Frequency) or uncontrolled airport both IFR & VFR that may or may not be served by a Flight Service Station (FSS). This episode is a great brush up on the little details that can sometimes get us in trouble. It is also a great intro to Canadian uncontrolled aerodrome procedures for those that will be flying into Canada for the first time.
