11/25/2019 Ride Along As We Ferry a Damaged PA31 Navajo Post Birdstrike Video By: Steve Thorne of Flight Chops This video follows the preflight preparation and short flight in realtime from Pitt Meadows, BC to Langley, BC. This video is an example of some of the single pilot standard operating procedures that we work to instill in our clients.  On November 16, 2019 we experienced multiple birdstrikes in a client's PA31 Navajo. In this video we discuss the importance of preparation and conducting an in-depth before takeoff briefing which covers the actions to be taken in the event of an issue on the takeoff roll as well as personal minimums. |
