Invest in yourself, train like the airlines do!
Cardinal Aviation is proud to offer its airline inspired, general aviation simulator training at the Pitt Meadows Regional Airport (CYPK) and Langley Regional Airport (CYNJ). Simulator training allows pilots to be exposed to situations and flight conditions that would be too dangerous or expensive to practice in the actual aircraft. Airline pilots fly their aircraft hundreds of hours per and train in flight simulators at least twice every year to maintain their currency and proficiency. Why don't you?

in·vest /inˈvest/
verb
devote (one's time, effort, energy or money) to a particular undertaking with the expectation of a worthwhile result.
Initial & recurrent training is an investment. As pilots we invest in gadgets and preventative maintenance on our aircraft. So why don't we invest in preventative training for ourselves? Recurrent training forces us to reinforce concepts, drills and actions that were taught during initial training but due to lack of use have most definitely decayed and may not be at the ready should you need them. Your return on investment will be increased comfort while flying knowing that should something un-expected happen, you are ready to confidently handle it. Flying in a confident, prepared frame of mind is far more enjoyable than flying on edge.
