The PIVOT Thermal Runaway Envelope (TRE) is designed for the safe removal and transport of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) devices at risk of lithium-ion thermal runaway. Built for flight deck safety, it enables crews to quickly contain and remove a device showing signs of overheating before or during a thermal event.


Engineered for use with PIVOT case and mount solutions, the TRE allows simple one-step detachment: slide the pocket over the mounted EFB, release the clip, and secure the device inside. Durable, heat-resistant materials ensure safe containment and transport so crews can manage the risk using standard emergency procedures.
