Pilot — Pilatus PC-12 | Full Time Pilot | Part 604 Operation | Vancouver Area

About the Role
A private aircraft group based at Boundary Bay Airport (CZBB) is looking for a full-time pilot to join a small, close-knit operation flying a brand new Pilatus PC-12 Pro. The aircraft is professionally managed by Cardinal Aviation Ltd. This is a genuinely good seat — you'll be home most nights, flying a world-class turboprop into interesting destinations across western Canada and the western United States, and working alongside a group of owners who value professionalism, good judgment, and someone who is simply good to be around.

The group consists of four owners who are transitioning to the PC-12 from an existing aircraft of a different type. The successful candidate will join the operation at the ground floor — participating in initial type training and helping establish the procedures and rhythm of a new aircraft from day one. Training is anticipated to begin in October or November 2026, with flight operations commencing in December 2026.

One owner holds a private pilot licence and flies the aircraft personally. Your role is to operate the aircraft for the remaining three owners and, on occasion, to accompany the pilot-owner on repositioning trips to support the broader scheduling needs of the group. Scheduling is well-organized — most trips are planned at least a week in advance — and a small pool of part-time pilots provides additional flexibility when needed.

This is not a position for someone chasing hours to move to the airlines. It is a position for a pilot who has found what they want to do and wants to do it exceptionally well.

What We're Looking For
Beyond the logbook, we're looking for someone who fits naturally with the group. We believe that the core of a sucessfull operation is in the people involved. You'll spend time with the owners — before flights, on trips, and on the road. Professionalism, discretion, warmth, and reliability matter here as much as your flying skills.

The right person will be:
- Easy to be around — unpretentious, personable, and a good communicator
- Genuinely invested in the operation, not just the flying
- Comfortable operating professionally without close supervision.
- Organized and proactive — owners should never have to wonder about the status of the aircraft, a trip, or a weather decision
- Honest and direct — able to say no to a flight when conditions or judgment warrant it, without pressure affecting the call
