Note From Dan:
My passion for aviation goes as far back as my earliest childhood memories. Although I did not formally begin my aviation career until 1997 when I got my Glider Pilot License through the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, I always had a keen love for any kind of flying. During my over 20 years of flying I have amassed over 10 thousand hours in a diversity of operations, including landing at fields above 13000 feet in the Andes, flying over the North Pole, several Atlantic crossings, and operations through all the continents. The best thing I have learnt during all these years is that aviation is a never ending education. Every flight, every trip, every mission comes with an opportunity to grow and learn! Regardless of whether one seats in the left, the right, the jumpseat, or the back of the sim, an aviator is ALWAYS learning, and most of the learning comes from other aviators. My humble offer is to try to help others with whatever knowledge, skills, or experience that I can pass on. |
