Note From Steve:
I have been involved in aviation for nearly 30 years in many different roles and capacities. The learning has never stopped, and it is gratifying not only to pass along my experience to others, but to learn from others through these interactions with our peers. The old adage: “Aviation in itself is not inherently dangerous. But to an even greater degree than the sea, it is terribly unforgiving of any carelessness, incapacity, or neglect.” - rings true. We should all take steps to increase our proficiency and become better pilots by taking advantage of coaching and mentoring opportunities. As pilots, we are invested in aviation safety. It is time to invest in ourselves and continue to improve our aviation skill set. |
